A classic piece of American temperance history, in a clean black frame. This is a reproduction of Nathaniel Currier's 1846 lithograph "The Drunkard's Progress: From the First Glass to the Grave" — the iconic arc showing all nine steps of alcoholism, from "a glass with a friend" to ruin.
The print is in good condition with vivid color and clean white matting. Solid black frame. Measures approximately 19" × 23" overall.
A great conversation piece for a bar, home office, or any collector of Americana, folk art, or historical prints. This isn't something you see on every wall.
